Power Berry Smoothie
I cannot believe it’s already June. As the weather gets warmer, this will help keep you cool. Berries are in season, so right now they taste absolutely delicious.
6 oz (170 g) Blueberry Smári
3.5 oz (100 g) acai berry purée, pure and unsweetened*
1/4 cup (25 g) blueberries
1 small ripe banana, peeled
1 teaspoon (3.4 g) chia seeds
Milk or almond milk (optional)
*You can usually find this in your grocery store’s frozen food aisle. If it’s unavailable, replace it with a 1/2 cup of another fresh berry of your choice.
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend on medium high until completely
smooth (30-45 seconds). If it doesn’t blend smoothly or you need to thin it out,
add a splash of your milk of choice.
For additional sweetness, try adding honey or maple syrup.
